The purpose of this award is to equip the learners with the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to implement micro scale solar photo-voltaic (p-v) projects, up to 11 kilowatt, according to the applicable standards, legislation, guidelines, and manufacturer’s specifications, whilst working autonomously.
Contractors must successfully complete both the QQI Level 6 Micro Solar Photovoltaic Systems Implementation (6N0306) and QQI Level 6 Electrical Installation and Commissioning of Micro Generators Award (6N0307) courses in order to register with SEAI as an approved contractor for Solar PV grants.
NOTE: The course dates are as follows:

Making an application is not a guarantee of selection. Participation in some programmes are subject to a selection process and based on eligibility criteria which are listed in the course description (if applicable).
Offer
Once you are given an Offer to participate on the course you will have 5 days to consider the Offer, after which time the offer will lapse.
Payments
All delegates are required to pay the registration fee in full, by credit card, prior to attendance at the course, workshop, seminar or event. In order to confirm your booking, you must complete the booking online via our website for public courses and by email to Mark Ruane at mark@windenergyireland.com for on demand courses.
If a membership discount is in use it must be used at the time of booking – there will be no refunds for bookings made without the membership discount code.
If the membership discount is availed of, the invoice raised will be issued to the invoicing details on the membership register. If you require the invoice to be raised for an additional company or address other than what is registered on our Membership Database the membership discount will be forfeited and the full non-member rate will apply.
Cancellations
Delegates who cancel their place on or two working days before will have their fees refunded, less an administrative charge of €50 per trainee. No refunds will be made to those cancelling after that date, but replacement delegates will be accepted. Non-attendees are still liable for payment for the conference.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing to Mark Ruane at mark@windenergyireland.com. All written cancellations will be acknowledged. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cancellations by telephone.
