Course Overview

Electrification of heat and transport, offers immense benefits such as in terms of emissions reductions, security of supply and electricity market gains.

Ireland Electrified will be launched which is an association representing electric heat, both domestic and industrial as well electric transport, advocating for change for its members so electrification can expand and fulfill its potential. Ireland Electrified brings together organisations using energy for heat and transport with electricity generators, technology companies, installers, manufacturers and innovators to develop new, practical and scalable ways to accelerate electrification of Ireland’s energy systems.

This webinar will host a panel of speakers to discuss electrification policy more broadly across both electric heat and transport. This will be from policy making stakeholders and those implementing change. Attendees will hear about electrification plans and will also hear about the new association of Ireland Electrified as it is launched and what it hopes to achieve on behalf of its members across broad industries.

Course Objectives and Learning Outcomes
